6 th week reflection

This week was largely dedicated to exam-related duties as the term progressed, and I found myself balancing between invigilation in the exam halls and managing discipline in the open-air auditorium where students waited for their turn. The atmosphere was tense at times, as expected during exams, but the students remained mostly calm and cooperative, which made my role a bit easier. While invigilating, I had to stay vigilant to ensure that the exam environment remained fair and distraction-free, but I was impressed by the students’ discipline and focus. Meanwhile, I had to ensure that the waiting students remained quiet and orderly despite their anticipation. The school closed on September 13, 2024, for the Onam vacation, marking a festive end to a busy week. Overall, the week reinforced my ability to manage both structured and unstructured environments, and it gave me further confidence in handling diverse responsibilities as a teacher.

5 th week reflection

The first term examinations for the year 2023-24 started this week on 3rd September 2024.  From 3rd September, I occasionally got exam duties in exam halls. If not, I was on discipline duty in the auditorium to check on the students waiting for the afternoon session exams. So this week went by these duties at the school. It was a new experience as I could also help CWSN category for finishing their exams.
